5. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your inquiry, appointment, account or our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We share it only with service providers that help us deliver messages.
6. Calls and AI
Calls to SMBIZ phone numbers may be answered by an AI assistant. Calls and chats may be recorded and transcribed so we can respond, provide our services and improve quality. The AI assistant identifies itself as an AI assistant.
7. How we share it
SMBIZ does not sell personal information. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as hosting, CRM and communications platforms, phone and text carriers, payment processors and analytics. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of SMBIZ, our customers or others.

12. Health information
Please don't send medical or health details through our website forms or chat. Customers that are covered by HIPAA must contact us before storing protected health information in SMBIZ. We handle protected health information only under a signed Business Associate Agreement.
13. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. If the changes are significant, we'll let customers know by email or a notice on our website.
